Gas Detector

This device warns of natural gas leaks and can be used in conjunction with a gas shut off valve.  The version most used also incorporates a Carbon Monoxide detector for increased safety. It is important to realise that as these devices are only triggered by dangerous levels of gas, a hob left on unlit will take some time to reach the point where an alarm will be triggered. By this stage the gas will already have been noticeable by smell.
