About Surrey Telecare

Surrey Telecare is a partnership initiative set up by the District and Borough Council service providers across the county and Surrey County Council, to raise awareness of Telecare, and the peace of mind that an installed Telecare alarm can bring to you and your family.

Local Telecare Services

Your local service is there to provide safety, security and wellbeing, by helping enable people to live independently in their own homes.

Across the county the  services are known by a variety of names so pleasedon’t be confused by references to “Community Alarms”, “Careline” or “Personal Alarm”

All the local teams will be very happy to talk through their services and costs with you, and you can get in touch with the one in your area via the Contact Us page. Simply complete the information boxes and select submit and they will soon respond to your request. On the same page you will also be able to download a copy of their current service leaflet.

We have also provided a page through which you can complete an online application. This will be sent direct to your nominated District or Borough service provider, who will get in contact with you at the first available opportunity, but please remember, although the alarms are monitored 24 hours a day, the local offices are normally only staffed during office hours Monday to Friday.

Through this website we intend to broaden people’s understanding of Telecare, by providing information on the type of equipment and sensors available, and their potential applications. You will be able to view descriptions of what is available and the type of circumstances where they might be used.
